Note: statistics are results. Statistics are caused. Bad conditions, and good conditions can be measured. Statistics measure conditions. Statistics are numbers, 20 push-ups, 3 coffees, computer crashed 5 times, etc.

Hello,
My name is Joe Ball and i am a site administrator. I wanted to tell you about my job. Aside from the dealing with the nuts and bolts of this website, my main focuses are:
- Being the collection bin and distribution system of all things great.
- To relay, or communicate valuable information in the most pleasing and understandable way I possibly can.
- To locate positive results and successes, spread the example, and create a model for it’s distribution.
- Assisting others by supplying information and spreading their message.
- To assist others in becoming authors on this site.
Here are a few things I consider important:
- Successes. Something intended that lead to a result.
- Solutions. Information that resolves a problem.
- Problems. The most accurate and concise summary of situation.
- Inspiration. Anything that has the power of motivating others.
- Knowledge. Information for any topic related to betterment.
- Vision. Thoughts of the future, and crisp ideals.
This website is for you, and my job is to help you. Here are a few things you can do that will really help me out:
- Keep a constant look out and alertness to positive impacts that are being made.
- Bookmark the ‘submit information‘ page so that you can use it without delay to share information.

Here is my take on saving the world, defining world as: all that relates to or affects the life of a person.
The exact answer may be different for each of us.
The point is actually doing something, making that known, and inspiring others to do the same.
In time, the “how” will be answered without question by anyone that you ask.
I’m here to make a record of those answers and spread them far and wide.
If you work towards making a difference don’t expect to be paid back or acknowledged.
A really great acknowledgment will end a conversation.
A really great acknowledgment may also impede your progress.
Instead of being paid back for your contribution, Insist that others pay it forward.
“Hey Joe I really liked what you did with the …” Would be interrupted with, “great, tell someone else” .

(This writing consists of a story that illustrates goal setting, decision making, and my thoughts on the subject.)
There are two ways to make decisions.
The first consists of assessing what others think ought to be done. This is the decision based on group think, and is normally considered ‘popular’ and will be accepted amongst the majority.
The other way is to carefully eradicate what others think ought to be done and decide for yourself, seeking your own counsel. This is where the powerful decision lives.
A good friend told me an incredible story over a couple Miller High Life’s that is a result of a decision with the right ingredients, or I should say it lacked the ingredients of others.
Let me fill you in on a little background info. First off, I have heard him complain many times over the years regarding his contracting business and his dissatisfaction of it. I was curious why the most able person I knew was struggling so, therefore I watched his actions over the years to study this behavior. He has a wife, 3 kids, contracting business, multiple propertied across the U.S., lots of neat stuff, a horse, and a bunch of vehicles. Continue reading Tips on decision
I read an article last night in the Sept 2008 issue of Smithsonian.

It was an eye opener and worth a read. It’s largely about an area of the ocean being preserved and not fished and how the whole ecosystem is back to what it should be (or probably close). I was impressed by what one guy and small group achieved.
It’s a good example of what we need to do- To me , the Ocean is too important to Life’s balance and people need to know what it use to be like- before we changed it! Sure we can use it, but a good analogy might be the farmer who rotates his crops so that the soil is still good every year (I’m no expert but I’m sure there is a proper way). Well, the same with the Ocean- there’s no reason we can’t stop overfishing and polluting it.
I guess spending 100s of billions of dollars on 1,000 overseas military bases policing the world and giving billions to car manufacturers is more important. While we’re at it let’s print another trillion dollars or so in order that all of us can have Health Care. Why stop there? This money printing is getting real fun- I love it, I can’t stop. OOOOOBBBBBBAAAAAMMMMMAAAA- show me the MONEY!!!!! Lets’ earmark another Bill so we can print some more for the American Medical Association so they can do some more studies on “Embitterment Disorder”- I think it’s spreading real fast these days!
Where can I get my hands on one of those Money Printing Machines? I must have missed it in Economics 101.

I slid my legs under the counter weighted three legged table and decided, OK, why not. The lawnmower experiment of early 08 luckily had some footage to go with it. I scraped that, some email documentation, and some wordage together and made a web page of it. Though it was early 2009 when i did this, there was still a significant discovery that I thought others should know about.
I could have easily left that footage buried in my computer, the documentation lost in the email, and the words unwritten, because the lawnmower experiment was out of my mind and the lawnmower was hanging 10′ off the ground, but that month i was on a share-everything-you-know kick.

Basically it is an invention by Paul Pantone which consists of getting awesome gas mileage, using water for fuel, and decreasing polution.
Realize that i didn’t promote this web page at all. I didn’t send out a press release, nor did i send out any mass email. Mid february i put the video on Youtube and uploaded the webpage to my server, that’s it.
The first thing i noticed was there was a bunch of people watching the video. At first i was amazed when a hundred people watched it. Wow i thought. Few months later it passed a thousand and i didn’t care much, although i am very glad that it is helping people. I got several emails asking for more information and such.
Next thing i noticed was somebody from Stumbleupon had submitted the web page to the ‘enery industry’ list of popular sites. Stumbleupon sent 130 people to the site in a couple months, which is not a great statistic, but i sure was impressed.
230 visitors came from a Czech Republic forum. I noticed this through my statistics program of course. A few times i clicked on the link where i was getting the visitors, but had no idea what it was talking about, except i could see the word ‘Geet’. Out of curiousity, and through trial and error of google translating, i was able to determine that it was from Czech. I then wrote a note in english, had google translate it, then i posted my message on their forum board introducing myself. Ha Ha. I got many more hits after that. Ha Ha.
Just recently i found out that my video and documentation was included in an on-line university course. How cool is that?

They included the documentation that was on my website at various places in their course. They put my video as well as my webpage link on page 30 with these words,

Nobody asked me permission and i am glad they didn’t. Of course i want everyone to know, that’s why i put all that there in the first place.
