“What should I post on this site?” (glimpse into my mind)

By Joe Ball

What to post on this site???

There aren’t any specific rules really. There is the guideline, but other than that it’s an open slate.

Here are a few examples:

  • Beautiful pictures- Yes
  • Uplifting stories- Great
  • Logical rant- Sure thing
  • Validations of others- Awesome
  • Poems, quotes- Yes please
  • Situations that need immediate action- OK
  • Factual data in regards to what is really going on- By all means
  • Your ideals, how things ought to be- Fantastic
  • Promoting a helpful business- I’m interested
  • Little known facts or knowledge- Please
  • Actions that make a difference in the environment- Definitely

Let me tell you how I decide what to write here. First off, the mind is a super computer. It collects infinite information, speculations, observations, perceptions, imaginations. All that data gets stored. Then what? The information is sorted and categorized so it can be used. Continue reading “What should I post on this site?” (glimpse into my mind)

Tips on decision

By Joe Ball

(This writing consists of a story that illustrates goal setting, decision making, and my thoughts on the subject.)

There are two ways to make decisions.

The first consists of assessing what others think ought to be done. This is the decision based on group think, and is normally considered ‘popular’ and will be accepted amongst the majority.

The other way is to carefully eradicate what others think ought to be done and decide for yourself, seeking your own counsel. This is where the powerful decision lives.

A good friend told me an incredible story over a couple Miller High Life’s that is a result of a decision with the right ingredients, or I should say it lacked the ingredients of others.

Let me fill you in on a little background info. First off, I have heard him complain many times over the years regarding his contracting business and his dissatisfaction of it. I was curious why the most able person I knew was struggling so, therefore I watched his actions over the years to study this behavior. He has a wife, 3 kids, contracting business, multiple propertied across the U.S., lots of neat stuff, a horse, and a bunch of vehicles. Continue reading Tips on decision

Hard Cold Truth vs Soft Warm Falsity

Observations observed by Joe Ball.

Why is it that hard cold fact is not accepted and welcomed in our modern day?

If you go up to someone and nonchalantly tell them the hard cold truth, do you think they’ll REALLY listen? Doesn’t seem common to me. The pill of truth usually has to be candy coated and administered in the middle of a story or caper. But then there’s the corporate propaganda that you have to weed through first:

“Jiffy brand laundry detergent works like a charm.”

“Your local Chevron station loves to see you smile”

“Drink seven up and pay zero money down”

Corporate propaganda is like miracle grow for the weeds and death chemicals for the petunias. Continue reading Hard Cold Truth vs Soft Warm Falsity

Life’s relationship to Life

This is an author’s post by Carl Watts:

As I look out across life, there are many areas. Joe has displayed them represented by circles.

I find that life aids life in the game of survival.

Man is the top of the ladder. Man thinks and creates in ways far beyond the mere survival instincts that animals have.

The only true enemy of man is the physical universe. Lightening can strike with no provocation. A cliff can crush one without warning. Storms wreck havoc on man.

Man should not be harming man. War is never the answer. Drugging someone beyond an emergency is not helping but is harming the survival of man.

Each person is part of my life in some way. So my basic drive is to help all men survive. Ideally all of mankind would work with me to accomplish this. Together, we would conquer the physical universe while doing this.

Where men stray from this and seek to harm others, you have insanity. Politician seeking war. Big pharma/the psychs seeking a drugged population. International bankers seeking to own all and thus dominate all. These are all examples of insanity.

Validating people helps their survival. Letting them know that are important helps their survival.

Each person that survives better, helps me and my family and friends, mankind survive better.
